In the Land of the Pyramids, high above the Nile, the magic and mystery of the an cients
is made modern. The lotus flower – the Tamarai – rises from the dark depths of a
seething city – pure and precious, a symbol of serenity. Beyond the chaos and
confusion, above the clamoring sounds of a thousand and one nights, it blossoms into a
sultry space in which to sip on the Nile’s nectar and feast on its finery. An es cape where
lush linens lined with gold- dust billow in the warm evening breeze; where copper
shimmers and temples are reborn in soaring stone; where sumptuous sounds spin sexily
into the backdrop, beating gently beneath laughter and language. And at its heart, a sun-
boat made of wood and wonder, its iridescent curves glistening in the setting desert sun.
The writings on the wall draw on the dreams of the Pharaohs; the imaginings of the past
meet the ideals of the present in the pause where myths and realities intertwine. And in
that magical moment, the city finds its restaurant.
يمكن إعادة تصور تاريخ مصر وثقافتها وتراثها في عدة قطاعات لإعداد مشروع فاخر وضخم في قلب القاهرة. كان
المفهوم الرئيسي يكمن في خلق مساحة تتميز بالسحر والغموض القديم بحيث يتم صناعتها في مصر.
لقد تم صنع كل عنصر من عناصر التصميم خصيصا للمشروع من خلال مجموعة العمل إذا أعيد إنشاء المعابد
الفرعونية في أعمدة مرتفعة مصبوبة بلون الكهرمان والجرانيت وطبعت الجدران الحجرية الخشنة برسومات المعبد
المخططة وكذلك نجد المواد والألوان القديمة تغلف المكان والبياضات الخضراء المبطنة والمصنوعة يدويا تتدلى من
نوافذ تمتد من الأرض إلى السقف وتغطي المقاعد والطاولات، وبينما يتناول الزوار العشاء في أطباق مصنوعة من
المرمر كما سترى عجائب كنوز توت عنخ آمون “الأطباق السوداء والبيضاء والتيركواز أو المصنوعة من النحاس
الأحمر والبورجوندي”.
