CIRCULATION & TOPOLOGY
The organization of the cells is accomplished through the composition of a ring
and a star topology: Every space is attached to a public ring, the Orientation Hall.
Sub-cores, such as workshops and engineering departments are attached to the
ring and connect to the exhibition spaces through a star topology. The sub-cores
there are the major vertical connections with research spaces and loading spaces.
The exhibition spaces overlap with each other to create a secondary exhibition
itinerary and a second ring in relation to the Orientation Hall. This kind of
composition begins from a generative cell, the workshop, which enables a
functional flexibility and possible extension of each exhibition space.
CONCEPT
A minimum mass starts to expand from the gravity center of the site as a Cellular
Canopy.
