There were many demands over the original 360 square meters space, but an extra 65 was added
with a mezzanine (a small floor that is built between two other floors in a building) and a service area
totaling at 425 square meters. The design included two classrooms, a study area for 35 people, a
break room and two meeting rooms. Accordingly, the mezzanine was added to the central area, in
addition to a roof and floor for the service area, which was a skylight along the place. Furthermore,
there was an area allocated for fun, relaxation or reading since the areas that aim to affect youth
students psychologically should have a fun space.
The project took nearly one year with minimal interference from the corporate in design and
construction phases. Therefore, the accomplishment was difficult in light of the desire of the designer
to make changes contin uously to have the best shape, as the designers creativity is limitless.
Accordingly, the project has developed from just an internal design into an architectural and
construction design with decoration and furniture, in addition to delivering the project with its all
requirements.
The main purpose of the project was to make a design that inspires the spirit of participation,
especially as the place is educational. The 425- square meter headquarters has a reception, an
executive office, two classrooms, fun area, a break room and two meeting rooms.
The reception has a distinguishing characteristic, as the steel of the external part reflects an Islamic
pattern, while the entrance have a pharaoh style. The area is open with glass partitions to enable the
person to see all angles of the place to feel the space is larger than the actual area.
