Trophies given to ail attendees of the 9th Saint-Gobain Gypsum
international Trophy on June 2014 in Berlin– Germany
Saint-Gobain Gyproc organizes National Trophy competition
for projects completed between 30th April, 2013 and 31 st August 2015.
The purpose of this competition is to select projects where Saint-Gobain
gypsum products and accessories were installed Gyproc.
The projects must contribute to highlight contractors’ know- how and to the
development of techniques used in plaster professions.
Projects entered in the competition must be fully executed using only
Gyproc Egypt products and accessories for the work concerned by the
Trophy.
Installation of the products must be in accordance with the generally
accepted rules of the art and comply with the Gyproc Egypt technical
instructions.
The competition is open upon reception until 31st, July 2015.
Competition Seeks Proposals for ‘‘Cool School” Capable of Withstanding
Extreme Mongolian Climate
Building Trust has launched their sixth international design competition:
Cool School. Seeking an innovative school design proposal that can
withstand the extreme Mongolian climate, the competition is challenging
architects, designers and engineers to envision a solution which has the
chance to shape the future of school buildings across cold regions globally.
Contestants should consider environmental conditions, materials, space,
comfort, accessibility, adaptability and aesthetics. Building Trust will work
alongside competition partners, World Vision, local government and the
school community in Khovd, Mongolia to build the winning school design.
Open Call: Our Future With/ Without Parks 2105
The Japanese Institute of Landscape Architecture (JILA) will be
celebrating its 90th anniversary in May 2015, and is pleased to host an
international competition for design proposals envisioning future Tokyo
with/without parks in 2105, 90 years from today.
The competition invites students and young practitioners in design,
planning, research, and related fields to rethink the raison d’etre of the park,
one of the greatest urban inventions for modern society, and to propose
innovative visions for future Tokyo with/ without parks. Online
registrations close April 24, 2015.
