The Egyptian Furniture sector is entering the 21 st century determined to position
itself as a competitive player in the international market.
We have chosen to do so through our capacity to introduce original and innovative
products.
The Chamber of Wood Working and Furniture Industries thus combined its efforts
with the Egyptian Furniture Export Council to organize and sponsor the Design +
Industry Competition, now in its second round under the umbrella of”+20 Egypt
Design” project. It is an attempt to link the creative energies of Egyptian designers with
the manufacturing potentials of manufacturers to create new and innovative product
ideas that address the needs of a global market. EFEC and CWWFI are keen on
