The Architectural exhibition of the projects submitted
Alexandria Library got 144 projects, each project consists of eight Painting A1
siz – a report of 20 pages A3 «from 32 countries which necessitated a large hall ofe
40 meters in 100 meters for displaying projects. This hall located next to the library
headquarters and this requires large sums to be provided in order to ensure and
emphasize the principle of transparency, spreading the culture of architectural
competition, the quality and diversity of ideas.
A press conference has been hold on 29th August and three was a general invitation
to the public at the headquarter of the library.
This conference was attended by a large number of participants and those who
are interested in architecture as well as the governor of Alexandria, senior
architects, university professors, departments of architecture at Egyptian
universities and the Egyptian competitors who are participating in the competition.
There was a show of all winning projects through which the Committee
addressed the reason behind choosing the projects and the announcement of the
winners’ names.
