Airport City In Cairo

The project comes in synchronization with the plan that is being implemented by the government to demarcate the future borders of the provinces of the Republic, and the magnitude of what it provides in terms of development and investment opportunities and the establishment of new communities to accommodate the expected increase in population in the coming decades, which included the addition of three new provinces which are; central Sinai, the Alwahat province (Bahariya and Farafra), and El Alamein (El Alamein, Dabaa, Alhamam, and Fouka), and the latter used to belong to Matrouh Governorate.

The scope of the northwest coast extends from El Alamein until Salloum within a distance of about 500 km, including the scope and the desert hinterland (Alsahrawy) it would extend in depth of more than 280 km, this would lead to it occupying about approximately 160 thousand km2.

The importance of this developmental scale lies in its uniqueness and distinctiveness since it has all the elements and components of the development of distributed resources all over the country concentrated in one place in the north-west coast and hinterland desert (Alsahrawy).

The north-west coast area with all the different resources it holds is considered to be a hope for Egypt to accommodate the increase in population that is believed to take place over the next 40 years and which is estimated to be about 34 million people, it will also generate projects that are planned according to the scheme that will provide about 11 million jobs until target year 2052.
