CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: “A TEMPLE FOR HILMA ”
Virtually unknown until just a few years ago , Hilma of Klint produced her
first abstract paintings in 1906, years a head of traditional abstract pioneers
like Kan – dinsky and Mondrian 110 years later, she is still waiting for her
due recognition – and a home for her collection. A Temple for Hilma seeks
to address this by asking participants to imagine an art museum dedicated
t oHilma of Klint and her work .
The site is located by the water of Vartan in Stock – holm , Sweden. This is
an opportunity to let abstract – tion meet architecture
