CAS BEE has been designed to enhance both the quality of people’s lives
and to reduce the life-cycle resource use and environmental loads
associated with the built environment, from a single home to a whole city.
CAS BEE major categories of criteria are: quality of service, indoor
environmental quality, outdoor environment on site, energy, resources and
materials and off-site environment. To rate projects, CASBEE uses a scale
of excellent, very good, good, fairy poor and poor. Sustainability now is a
top priority in countries like Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, … etc.

construction to operational accountability of communities, buildings and

pearls. The Pearl Rating System is organized into seven categories: water,
energy and waste minimization, local materials, … etc. where there are both
mandatory and optional credits. To achieve 1 Pearl Rating, all the
mandatory credit requirements must be met.
