Furniture is found everywhere around us in our homes and buildings ,
which we use either directly or indirectly, however, we are all the time
examining it by our senses i.e. looking at it or even touching it. This process
of sensual experimentation turns the utilitarian product into a piece of
creativity where all the visions adhere to the changes that occur between
day and night, the elements of this product soon merge in terms of
neighboring pieces of sculptures in a play.
Therefore, it is the designer’s role to design pieces that hold certain
meaning, topic, and symbols, which are reflected as messages. The role of
these messages is to build that mysterious connection and sentimental
homogeneity which in turn lead to the strengthening of the respectful bond
between man and objects in that sense; furniture. This respectful bond also
occurs between furniture and the surrounding space, which creates a visual
unity, a general complementing atmosphere as well as provoking the
activity of memory, which turns the piece of furniture into a knowledgeable
added value that pushes us to create and belong.
Some of the following designs are meant to prove theories that the use of
furniture is more than merely an object that we acquire but a piece that is
meant to move and inspire us.
