and I have to carry out the vision that lies in the client’s imagination in an
appropriate architectural and technical way. There are engineers who apply
a “specific style” for most of the projects, but not me, because I love the
whole thing, with all the details. And the beauty of it is that once you try a
new style, you fall in love with it.”
Hashish explained that her relationship with her clients depends on dealing
with them as the main reason for her success. She also added that, “When
a new client comes, he/she might not know what theyexactly want, hence, I
try to understand the design wanted in the house, taking into consideration
that the house design should meet the standards and the styles but in the
client’s taste. But if the taste is different, then it may be hard to carry out
the mission. Some people want just an engineer to carry out the design, but
that’s not me.”

Hashish says that the sessions that she holds with the client are similar to
the psychiatrist’s sessions, and through these sessions, she finds out the
required style through his/her life style, social relationships and favorite
places to travel to. She adds, “Of course, whoever prefers to travel to India
is different from that who prefers to travel to France, and that can go on for
ten sessions to figure out, but I don’t care about time that much as I’m not
thinking about the money.”
Hashish adds, “Public places have specific touch as the engineer adds part
of his/her soul to them, but when it comes to houses, I can never impose
my opinion in the client,
