Sheikh Zayed City, Giza ” Egypt The National Cancer Institute have decided to construct
a new facility named the New National Cancer Institute (500 500) in the property of
Cairo University in Sheikh Zayed City, which includes the following:
Specialized Integrated Educational Hospital:
Specialized hospital to treat all ages and all type of cancer, to accommodate 1,012 beds
in the inpatient department,.500 beds in the one day treatment unit, 60 major operation
theatres, 15 Radiotherapy equipment, and accordingly it is considered to be one of the
largest hospitals specialized in cancer treatment worldwide
Research Educational Administration Building:
An office building includes the administration for the hospital, institute, clinical
research offices, clinical department offices and international scientific cooperation
center.
Conference and Training Center.
This center will include conference halls, teaching and examinations for various
simulations of the diagnosis activities and treatment of cancer to train young doctors,
nurses and technicians. In addition to the hard and electronic Library specialized in
various cancer Sciences
Integrated Center for Cancer Advance Researches:
Central Utility Plant (CUP):
Covering all project components The commencement of the project stages have started
by Phase One which includes:
