Arch / Hany Maher Ibrahim, who once was evolved in an experiment designing a Capital
for Egypt, decided to say his opinion regarding the New Capital that was announced in
Sharm EI Sheikh, by designing his interpretation New Capital for a what he called a
Nation with 7000 years civilization. He and his office ARCHILAB and the sister UAE
company AL WATAN AL ARABI in Dubai, together with some interested specialists
and partners, all together started in this adventure together.
And when we interviewed him to understand their vision, those were some of his

EGYPT: THE PHENOMENON
“Egypt the gift of the Nile” so says Herodotus in his trail to explain the Egyptian
phenomenon . For Egypt surpassed the idea of being a state or a country contained
within borders or even a group’ of great historical events or the cradle of civilization,
for it’s all that and much more.lt is the oldest known state in the human civilization that
still exists till now even after all that it passed through. For it had its shares of ups and
downs of religions of conquerors of youth and senility of death and rebirth. For if there
were a symbol describing this phenomenon the Egyptian mythical firebird Bennu (the
phoenix in the Greek mythology) would be the best example. This immortal
phenomenon as his rising from the dust after his death to fly again brave and strong
boasting off his miracle of his eternal existence.
