PENDANT LAMP IN STYLE OF VERNER PANTON’S MOON
LAMP, 1960S
This interesting pendant lamp from 1960s reminds us strongly of Verner
the Pantoms Moon Lamp. Its reflector is made of a number of lamellas
which are arranged around the bulb as well. But the ten aluminum blades in
this particular case are arranged spirally staggered and they are fixed. The
lamellas have an orange coating which creates a very pleasant warm .light

The pendant lamp (Splugen   Brau ) was designed by Achille and
Giacomo   Castiglioni for the restaurant Splugen It is made of turned .1961
Brau Milan in aluminum. The smoothly curved and polished surface creates
a fluid look that reminds of the circular waves which occur in a lake when a
stone dropped into. The lamp was produced .by Italian light manufacturer
