It is worth mentioning that in this long history in architecture and architects in Egypt,
Egypt won many international awards from the International Union of UIA Architects
due to the sponsorship of the Egyptian Architects Association such as:
-UIA Gold medal award in architecture for architect Hassan Bey   Fathy in 1985.
– UIA Sir Patrick Crombie Award for Urban Planning in 2008 to architect Mahmoud
Yousri.
-UIA Zgotaz   Vacilice award for urban environment upgrading, was won by the Egyptian
architect Hani Miniawi in 2008
– UIA Jean Choumi award for Education and Architectural Publishing, was won by the
architect Dr. Ashraf Salama in 2017
– Egypt has won many international awards for the youth, the most important of are:
– Award of architecture students’competition in the departments of architecture
approved by UNESCO and Egypt won the first place for the year 2017, project of
Mansheyat Nasser, the Scavengers district and the role of architecture in society’s
service, and the approach that combines architecture and anthropolo gy presented by the
architect Heba Al- Sawi from the Department of Archi – tecturem American university at
Cairo.
-«Future Hospitals award for health care from UIA presented to the winner architects:
Israa   Hamad   Azzab, Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University and Ahmed Hassan Al-
Taweel, MSA University
– Golden cube Award from the Architec ture and Child Programme which was sponsored
by Dr. Heba Safi El-Din and a group of youth from Misr International University in
2017 (Farah Al- Gendi,
Basem Ashraf Saleh , Nada Kassab , Sama   Abul-Ezz, Sara El-Gendy , Louay   Saleh) Egypt
is going to participate through the Egyptian Architects Association at the 2017
International Conference of Architects in Seoul,
